About The Position

ImageTek, a rapidly growing and expanding contract manufacturer located in North Springfield, is looking for Machine Operators to join our amazing team! This is a first shift opportunity. The Printing, Die Cut and Laminate Press Machine Operators will safely operate numerous industrial machines and equipment involved in printing and die cutting materials. This is a first shift role.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, use fractions and decimals.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, prints, and job orders
Employees must be detail oriented.
Familiarity with machine operation recommended.
Must be flexible and available for overtime as required.
Must perform all essential job functions and meet physical demand requirements.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is recommended.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial machinery including digital printing presses, laminate, die cut and flexographic presses in accordance with prints and specifications.
Obtain knowledge of all machines and tools in the printing and die cutting area.
Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup, safety and alignment performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
Maintain good attendance, flexibility in job assignment, adaptability to changing business needs and continually learn and apply new skills.
Foster a cooperative, productive, and collaborative environment and meets minimum physical demand.
Verify accuracy of job order documentation and purchased parts per work order instruction.
Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
Loading and unloading stock.
Changing rolls of material, die cutters and anvils per job requirements.
Perform quality checks on all job assignments.
Perform visual and manual tests as needed.
Operation of hand or power tools if required.
Train others as needed.
Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
