We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Machine Operator IV role. Team Members will be cross trained based on various tasks in support of production operations.

Requirements

Typically requires a High School Diploma or GED and no related experience
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system

Responsibilities

Perform as an operator on the facilities’ slitter machine.
Work to achieve maximum productivity and quality in the slitting area.
Perform necessary adjustments to the slitter machine.
Monitor slitter operations, check quality and detect defects.
Operate computer, complete daily paperwork, and maintain production records.
Perform various tasks in support of production operations.
Acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
Learn how to problem solve and how to follow standardized practices.
Learn how to follow work instructions. Works under close supervision.
Must learn and follow standardized work that has been created within assigned role.
Learn professional concepts and company policies and procedures.
Learn lean concepts, actively participate in process improvements.
Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.
