About The Position

Lennox AES, a division of Lennox, is seeking a Machine Operator II for their Tallassee, AL location. This role is responsible for operating and performing basic maintenance on various machinery to ensure efficient production and quality standards. The position involves machine setup and programming, advanced troubleshooting, contributing to process improvements, and potentially training others. This is a 3rd shift position, Monday-Thursday, 7pm-5:30am.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to lift and moderate to heavy objects.
Able to operate more advanced machinery including overhead crane, and Decoiler machine.
Has an attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Previous manufacturing and advanced machine operation experience.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and/or assembly instructions.
Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
Monitor machine outputs to ensure products meet quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Identify and trouble shoot basic machine malfunctions.
Perform basic, routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate smoothly.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
Assist in other production areas as necessary.
