About The Position
We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our Buckeye, AZ location! New employees can earn 60K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.
Requirements
- Ability to perform all job functions of Machine Operator I.
- 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Valid crane certification.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.
- Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.
- Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling.
- Operate a variety of machinery, including but not limited to, bridging machines, saws, channel shears, angle shears, crimpers, and end bar benders.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.
