Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Blueprint Reading
Precision Tools and Measuring
Forklift certification, if applicable
Quality Metric: Scrap Dollars Rejected and/or reworked parts
Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for specific department
Demonstrate ability to use measuring equipment for specific department
Take Minimum Qualifications Test with a desired score of 70% or better
Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance

Demonstrate ability to set-up and run basic operations with assistance: Press brakes, CNC punches, and laser machines (if applicable)
Demonstrate ability to make proper adjustments on related machinery and/or equipment with assistance
Demonstrate ability to produce quality parts within acceptable scrap rate
Able to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced with assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements for the department
Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, Windchill, Kanban, and TKSs)
