About The Position

Eaton’s Electrical division is seeking a Machine Operator II to join our team at our Reno, NV facility. This role involves operating assigned machines/presses, troubleshooting machinery problems, and ensuring production quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Ability to operate machinery and presses safely.
Ability to read, accurately interpret, and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings.
Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material
Ability to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision.
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of six (6) months of experience with forming or bending machines.
Minimum of six (6) months of experience reading drawings or blueprints.
Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
Troubleshoot various machinery problems
Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
QC and document all parts run on machines
Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
Maintain a clean work area
