The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $20 - $26 per hour. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of CNC machinery and laser cutting technology.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and engrave materials according to technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Load and unload materials onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement for accurate cutting.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to the machine or process to meet required specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the laser machine, including cleaning and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production quantities, and any issues encountered during operation.
  • Work closely with other team members and supervisors to troubleshoot problems, implement process improvements, and achieve production targets.
  • Participate in training programs and stay updated on new technologies and techniques in CNC laser machining.
