The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $20 - $26 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of CNC machinery and laser cutting technology.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and engrave materials according to technical specifications and blueprints.
Load and unload materials onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement for accurate cutting.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to the machine or process to meet required specifications.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on the laser machine, including cleaning and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production quantities, and any issues encountered during operation.
Work closely with other team members and supervisors to troubleshoot problems, implement process improvements, and achieve production targets.
Participate in training programs and stay updated on new technologies and techniques in CNC laser machining.
