About The Position

The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating molding equipment and assembly processes to produce, assemble, and package products according to specifications. This role involves maintaining accurate production records, performing quality inspections, and reporting any quality issues. Additionally, the operator will support the training of new employees, maintain a clean workspace, and perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Demonstrates the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work with a variety of tools and materials applicable to the position.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating injection molding machines.
Ability to read and interpret prints, work orders, and related documentation to complete production records and follow work instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

Operate molding equipment and assembly processes to produce, assemble, and package products to specification.
Maintain accurate production records and quality inspection reports.
Inspect parts and components for defects and compliance to quality standards.
Promptly report quality issues to the appropriate team members.
Support the onboarding and training of new employees on equipment operation and standard work procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimize hazards.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of team, departmental, and organizational goals.
