About The Position

Cadrex is seeking a Machine Operator I to operate machines according to program and product specifications. The role produces small to medium-sized components, either as finished products or as parts of larger products for assembly.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance or repair instructions and manuals, and procedure manuals.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of hand tools.
• Ability to understand mechanical processes.
• Electronics knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies.
• Position parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devices.
• Operate hand-held, electrical, and/or pneumatic tools.
• Operate lift equipment as needed.
• Use precision measuring tools as required.
• Verify the accuracy of completed products or batches through inspections as required.
• Report defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions, and products that do not comply with company or customer specifications to the Department Lead.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Complete required paperwork, including in-process or carbon-copy production sheets.
