About The Position

Phillips Manufacturing is a well-established, Omaha-based manufacturer with over 65 years of providing quality products to our clients. We are the one-stop shop for drywall finishing accessories, lath, stucco accessories, metal channels, interior framing, and fire-rated assemblies with facilities around the country. This role is scheduled for 2nd shift (4:30 PM-3:00 AM, four 10-hour days). For onboarding and training purposes, candidates MUST be able to work 1st shift hours (6:00 AM-4:30 PM, four 10-hour days) for up to 60 days. Availability for both schedules is required.

Requirements

Must be able to work 1st shift hours (6:00 AM-4:30 PM, four 10-hour days) for up to 60 days for onboarding and training.
Ability to lift up to 55lbs continuously throughout shift.
Moderate computer skills required (Scanning, Labels, etc.).
Pass a pre-employment drug testing, background, and physical capacity screenings.

Responsibilities

Operates a machine maintaining continuity of operation at maximum production consistent with proper safety and quality requirements.
Inspect, Prepare, Adjust, and perform Minor Repair of Machine.
Meet Product Specifications by taking and reading measurements.
Utilize moderate computer skills for scanning, labels, etc.
Produce legible and accurate production reports.
Place finished cartons/bundles in proper holding carts.
Walk, stand, bend, and twist for long periods of time with repetitive movement in a fast-paced environment.
Lift up to 55lbs continuously throughout the shift.
Adhere to the Attendance Policy.
Abide by all Safety Protocols.
