Machine Operator I
About The Position
This is a 1-year contract position for a Machine Operator I in Canaan, CT. The work schedule is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with weekly hours of 60.00, including rotating days on and off to cover weekends. The pay range is $16-$20/hr, with a specific rate of $14.00 per hour mentioned. A thirty-minute paid break is provided as long as the worker stays on-site. This is a nonsmoking facility and premises, including the parking lot. If a worker leaves for break, they must record their departure and return times, and this time is not paid. No jewelry is allowed, including wedding bands. This position is for C shift.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
- Must be able to read, write and understand English

- one to two years of previous manufacturing/production experience preferred
