About The Position

Lennox AES, a division of Lennox, is seeking a Machine Operator I for their Tallassee, AL location. This role is responsible for operating and performing basic maintenance on various machinery to ensure efficient production and meet quality standards. The position involves machine setup, troubleshooting, contributing to process improvements, and assisting in other production areas. This is a 3rd shift position, operating Monday through Thursday from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
Able to operate basic machinery (e.g., Plasma table, shear, or press brake).
Able to work with a positive attitude and in a team setting.
Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams or assembly instructions.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
Monitor machine outputs to ensure products meet quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Identify and troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
Perform basic, routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate smoothly.
