Under some supervision, this role operates simple to intermediate manufacturing equipment, which may include CNC Machines. The Machine Operator I inspects machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate records. This position identifies and accurately records scrap, maintenance requests, and production documents. The role requires reading basic part prints/blueprints and understanding general machine functions. Additionally, the Machine Operator I assists in the execution of continuous improvement projects, identifies and reports safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors. The role involves effective collaboration with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker. Meeting work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends, is essential. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
