This position is responsible for safely operating assigned CNC and production equipment, loading and unloading materials, and monitoring machine cycles. The Machine Operator I will follow work instructions, quality alerts, and standard operating procedures, while also performing visual and dimensional inspections using approved measuring equipment. Accurate completion of production and inspection documentation is crucial, as is reporting defective materials, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns immediately. The role requires maintaining required production rates while ensuring quality standards, keeping a clean and organized work area using 5S principles, and wearing required PPE while complying with all safety policies. Cooperation with supervisors, setup operators, machinists, and team members is expected, along with performing other duties as assigned. Environmental responsibilities include assisting in adhering to ISO14001, properly disposing of waste and recyclables, and being familiar with handling instructions for liquids or chemicals. The role also involves assisting in maintaining a safe and clean environment within the company's facilities, parking lots, and grounds.
