About The Position

Assist in the fabrication of trailer production. This role involves the setup and operation of various machines within the department, requiring the use of hand torches, buffers, and grinders. The operator will need to read and interpret cut sheets and blueprints for production orders, utilize measuring equipment proficiently, and operate material handling equipment such as overhead and jib cranes safely. Responsibilities also include removing scraps from torch tables and the department, and performing additional assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to read a tape measurer and other measuring devices.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Successfully complete a TK measure and blueprint evaluation
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, work ethic and ability to work within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • One year + experience with fabrication equipment preferred.

Responsibilities
