About The Position
A successful Machine Operator will have a strong dedication to safety and quality. Attention to detail is critical to ensuring the highest care is taken with plant equipment and processes. The ability to understand and follow work instruction while maintaining the 6S and key metrics in the department will help drive the success of the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- Mathematical and analytical skills
- Proven mechanical ability or aptitude
- Accuracy and attention to detail required
- Familiarity with correct PPE wear and safety policies
Nice To Haves
- Experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment
- Previous stamping, deburring, spot welding, experience with automation, or chemical safety experience
Responsibilities
- Safely operate light manufacturing equipment and follow work instructions during Milwaukee Tool Accessories production
- Assist in the maintaining of equipment and plant to Milwaukee 6S standards
- Accurately record production data
- Constantly work to ensure equipment is exceeding performance metrics
- Ensure timely job changeovers
- Coordinate with the Department Leads to fulfil Work Orders
