No prior experience is needed, just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Must be a sole US citizen without dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to successfully pass various background screening requirements including criminal history, education, credit, and drug screen.
  • Must obtain any required program-specific credentials and certifications.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • No experience is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work under direct supervision and handle basic issues, referring complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the finished product, its features, and quality standards.
  • Meet with the shift supervisor or lead to understand daily priorities and job order.
  • Spend time with the prior shift operator during the 30-minute shift overlap to understand machine-specific issues.
  • Test and inspect machines to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform routine machine calibrations as per procedures or management instructions.
  • Perform machine setup and warmup if not completed by the prior operator.
  • Read job tickets to determine correct materials and setup.
  • Pull necessary materials to load new jobs.
  • Load and unload materials and finished products according to machine guidelines to prevent stoppages.
  • Routinely clean machine stations per the cleaning checklist.
  • Swap out machine consumables based on quality feedback, lifespan schedule, or when parts are empty.
  • Check that produced items pass quality control tests at each designated stage.
  • Perform First Article Inspection of product to ensure it meets all quality standards.
  • Perform hand inspection of product when quality control is needed to eliminate defects.
  • Immediately notify maintenance and supervisor/lead of any machine maintenance issues.
  • Immediately notify supervisor/lead of any quality issues and follow quality control procedures for containment.
  • Remove waste from machines when bins are full.
  • Shred waste materials when all bins are full per security guidelines.
  • Follow all safety and security policies.
  • Take scheduled breaks as outlined in the policy.
  • Check emails for updates on policies and notifications, and to complete assigned tasks.
  • Follow all company established policies and procedures.
  • Attend required shift, department, and company meetings, including routine training.
  • Perform all other level-appropriate duties as required.
