About The Position

Under supervision, machine operators will ensure the safe and efficient operation of various production and sterilization equipment to meet quality and output standards. This role involves working with a team to maintain high product quality. The starting pay rate for Machine Operator I is $18 per hour, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for overnight shifts. The schedule is a 12-hour shift rotation (AM: 6am-6:30pm, PM: 6pm-6:30am) with a 2-2-3 rotation.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate, monitor, and set up various production machines safely.
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to verify correct inserts, labels, and pouches for each lot.
  • Ability to check product output for quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to document machine attributes and parameters on required forms and logs.
  • Ability to weigh products before packaging.
  • Ability to operate equipment to process and package materials.
  • Ability to load and transport finished products.
  • Ability to seal and verify packaging integrity.
  • Ability to communicate with operators on the line status and new jobs.
  • Ability to fill out requisition forms for shortages and scrap components.
  • Ability to complete scrap reports.
  • Ability to assist in maintaining proper line clearance.
  • Ability to perform backup duties and other projects as assigned.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Ability to ensure orderly housekeeping.
  • Ability to complete regular cleaning of equipment and production areas.
