About The Position
As a Machine Operator Helper, you are an essential part of the production team, working directly on our powerful Cut-To-Length machine. You’ll take ownership of the stacker gate operations to keep materials moving safely and efficiently. You aren't just pushing buttons—you are the final line of defense for quality, carefully inspecting the steel, counting precision cuts, and tagging materials so our customers get exactly what they ordered.
Requirements
- 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license
- Basic math and computer skills
- Basic literacy to read work instructions and safely use hand tools
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the stacker gate operations to keep materials moving safely and efficiently.
- Carefully inspect the steel.
- Count precision cuts.
- Tag materials.
