About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating all equipment to partially process food products according to production requirements. This position ensures that product temperature, texture, and quality meet established company standards while maintaining compliance with all food safety and workplace safety policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic math skills required
  • Basic reading skills required
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or machine operations.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SSOP requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor water temperatures, product times, and flow rates to ensure consistent processing results.
  • Adjust equipment settings as needed to maintain product specifications and prevent over- or under-processing.
  • Verify that raw and finished products meet all quality and safety standards.
  • Record processing data accurately, including but not limited to temperature logs, batch numbers, and production quantities.
  • Clean, sanitize, and inspect equipment and work areas following GMP and food safety standards.
  • Communicate promptly with maintenance or supervision when mechanical or process issues occur.
  • Assist other production areas as needed to ensure continuous operation.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including GMP, HACCP, and safety programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
