The Kraft Cell floater position will be used to back fill any gaps in staffing across any shift. The shift could vary between 3A-3P or 3P-3A depending upon need at that time. The floater will be cross trained on 1L as both assistant and operator, all cuffers, including 1-3C, 4 Cuffer, and 5 Cuffer. The floater will also learn 6L. During the extended training period, the floater should be able to get at least 5 days a week by cross training on multiple machines. The training period will also require flexibility on shifts, as the training will take place across both shifts. Once fully trained, the floater will backfill gaps on either shift on any machine. If there is 4-up production planned for 1L and no gaps in staffing, the floater will run 5 cuffer to produce the product. The position will be paid Machine Operator pay which is $23.95 in 2026.
