We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator Floater to support manufacturing operations by safely operating large line department equipment, maintaining product quality, and meeting production deadlines. This role serves as a key resource for the team, providing training and guidance to operators, assisting with production documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • At least 12 months of manufacturing, machine operation, and forklift experience.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills; ERP experience preferred.
  • Ability to read measurements and perform basic math calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and learn all department equipment within six months.
  • English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor demolders, rerollers, peelers, and other department equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure product quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods.
  • Assist with employee training, cross-training, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 6S and safety standards.
  • Enter and review production data, work orders, and inventory information.
  • Support production needs by assisting in other functions as needed.
