About The Position
As a Machine Operator - Finishing, you will drive manufacturing quality by leading equipment set-ups, machine changeovers, and troubleshooting on assigned assets. In this role, you will own operational decisions on adjustments to keep production running smoothly while upholding strict safety and product quality standards. This is a night shift position, C Team, from 11 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday. The starting hiring rate is $25.09/hr plus a $2/hr shift differential.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Proficiency with computer applications (MFG Pro skills preferred)
- Ability to follow written/oral instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform routine machine set-ups, changeovers, and operational adjustments per product specifications and standard practices.
- Inspect finished products for quality, track performance-to-plan, and record operating/downtime data using computer software (MFG Pro).
- Maintain a clean, safe work area (5S), adhere to safety policies, and assist with basic equipment maintenance activities.
- Collaborate in team problem-solving and cross-departmental initiatives to reduce waste and boost productivity.
