About The Position

Perform manual labor on various machines in a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating machinery, ensuring quality control, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with team members.

Requirements

Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Effective interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.
Perform job duties in an ethical and professional manner.
Basic math skills.
Flexibility to work in many different areas.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Blueprint experience is a must.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery and computers such as band saw, press brake, plasma table, minster press, iron worker, tube bender, tube notcher, drill press, overhead crane, or forklift.
Perform quality control checks and make necessary adjustments to meet product specifications.
Complete daily production logs.
Clean and maintain a neat work area, participating in 5S projects and continuous improvements.
Perform initial set-up and inspection of equipment.
Communicate with operators and set-ups from other shifts.
Follow start up and shut down procedures.
Assist mechanics and machinists in repair work.
Be able to cross train on other jobs.
Perform equipment change-overs.
