About The Position

We are seeking a Machine Operator (DTF Printing) to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining digital printing equipment to produce high-quality prints for customer orders. This role follows a Monday–Thursday schedule with four 10-hour shifts each week. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, takes ownership of equipment maintenance, and can consistently deliver accurate, high-quality output in a fast-paced environment. This position may also cross-train in other production areas. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily: Operate DTF digital printers using specialized software and ensure jobs are processed accurately Monitor print output to maintain consistent color, alignment, and quality standards Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including cleaning and basic troubleshooting Document maintenance activities and escalate recurring issues as needed Prepare and transfer job files using RIP software and manage print queues Perform precise color matching to meet customer specifications Inspect printed materials for defects and ensure quality before production handoff Handle post-print processes, including: DTF layout interpretation (job cards, visuals) Cutting and organizing heat transfer applications (HTAs) Matching prints to job specifications and identifying issues Transport completed work to the next stage of production

Requirements

  • Experience in DTF, digital printing, screen printing, or machine operation preferred
  • Ability to learn and operate print software (e.g., Ergosoft, VersaWorks, InEdit)
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of printing processes and color consistency is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to detect quality issues quickly
  • Proven ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently
  • Hands-on approach to equipment care and maintenance
  • Ability to work with repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong time management and ability to meet production deadlines
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Adobe Illustrator is a plus
