About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a General Labor to Assist CNC Machines to join their team in the Decatur, IN region. This position is responsible for assembling and testing components and products using a variety of tools. This position also assists with the operation of CNC machines by loading and unloading materials, setting up and changing tools, and monitoring the machining process. This position is for 2nd shift only.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in assembly or manufacturing
• Basic knowledge of CNC machining
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
• Good physical condition, able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test components and products according to specifications
• Assist with the operation of CNC machines by loading and unloading materials, setting up and changing tools, and monitoring the machining process
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure that they meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations
