About The Position

We're building our Machine Operator candidate pipeline at Design Ready Fabrication for both first and second shifts. In this hands-on role, you'll likely be trained to operate a brake press to form and shape sheet metal while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe operation. Depending on your interest and business needs, additional opportunities to cross-train on other fabrication equipment and processes may be available. Your day may include setting up and operating machines, inspecting finished parts, handling and organizing materials, and assisting with tasks such as shaking apart punched sheet-metal parts and supporting team members throughout the fabrication process. Requirements

  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, bend and lift an average of 20lbs frequently and on occasion 50lbs (or more with team lift) for the duration of an average 8-10 hour shift.
  • Must be able to work onsite at the Champlin, MN facility for the entire shift.
  • No experience required, but having a background in machine operations, manufacturing, assembly, or other relevant work is preferred.
