Machine Operator & Assembler
About The Position
Clarios is seeking a Machine Operator & Assembler to operate automated and semi-automated machines for manufacturing automotive batteries. This role involves performing minor assembly tasks, adjusting machine settings, troubleshooting issues, and conducting basic operator maintenance. Requirements
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a hot environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for long periods
- Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or extended shifts as needed
- Commitment to safety and PPE compliance
Responsibilities
- Operate automated and semi-automated machines to manufacture automotive batteries
- Perform minor assembly tasks as part of machine operation
- Adjust machine settings, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic operator maintenance (cleaning, greasing, replacing small parts)
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met; record approved and defective units
- Follow all safety, PPE, and production guidelines
