Requirements

Ability to Operate various production equipment with proper training and instruction.
Use standard measurement equipment.
Qualify for and operate a forklift.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand for longs periods of time.
Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.

Nice To Haves

Metal-craft manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with requirements including quality and output following verbal and written instructions.
Completes equipment adjustments and tooling changes to maintain compliance with specifications and quality procedures.
Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
Records length of time and quality of materials used for each job.
Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations and notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
Performs other duties as assigned.
