Working on the production line, you will produce blades as well as perform all quality checks. These positions require shift work and the ability to work overtime when needed. Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in business administration or related field
  • More than two (2) years working experience plus a demonstrated ability to effectively manage production work activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily standard work and perform complex operations successfully.
  • Read and interpret process sheets.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues with equipment to continue processing production material.
  • Clock labor in Solumina.
  • Perform Daily Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) and document results.
  • Be a resource of knowledge and problem solving for others in the area.
  • Keep equipment and work area clean (6S).
  • Adhere to standard work and all work instructions while performing tasks.
  • Maintain acceptable quality levels on routine and/or complex operations.
  • Run all equipment in the entire work loop and produce product at rate in multiple cells per standard work.
  • Train (through shadowing) other operators to perform work tasks. (Level II or III)
  • Frequently move about the machine line to operate various manufacturing equipment (approximately 90% of the time).
  • Transport product and/or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Demonstrate and maintain effective leadership skills.
  • Exhibit consistent skill and positive attitude towards their job while demonstrating the highest degree of quality and productivity.
  • Identify and correct basic to moderately difficult operational issues.
  • Correctly identify the root cause of operating problems.
  • Carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills.
  • Operate a variety of production machines.
  • Perform rework through grit blast/airflow loop.
  • Troubleshoot.
  • Properly & effectively be shadowed by and offer guidance to new employees.
  • Have knowledge of current cycle times associated with each product.
