About The Position
Making the famous LITTLE TREES air fresheners here in the USA since 1952. Mechanics are responsible for maintaining, adjusting and repairing manufacturing machinery. Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience in a production setting
- Basic math skills
- Lift up to 40 pounds
- Stand for long periods of time and climb stairs, bend, lift and push
- Hand eye coordination
- Use of both hands and fingers
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate pallet jack
Responsibilities
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance
- Set up and activate specialized production machinery
- Performs spot weld
- Assembles, installs, and dismantles machinery
- Maintains hand tools in working conditions
- Uses powered pallet jack
- Follows all safety procedures and reports any issues to supervisor
