About The Position

Responsible for maintaining machinery as assigned by the supervisor. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with formal technical education and training in electricity, electronics, hydraulics, and PLCs. The individual must demonstrate proficient performance of all Class C Machine Maintenance essential duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some formal technical education and training in electricity, electronics, hydraulics, and PLCs.
• Proficient performance of all Class C Machine Maintenance essential duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively by both written and oral means.
• Ability to understand and reliably carry out extensive and detailed process instructions.
• Ability to retain sufficient instructions to perform repeat tasks successfully and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to comprehend electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery, most machine tools, and keep equipment in good operating condition with moderate supervision.
• Assist Machine Maintenance Class A and Class C in mechanical and electrical installation, repairing of equipment, and preventative/ predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot common mechanical and electrical machinery performance problems and complete repairs promptly.
• Operate material handling equipment in compliance with all safety requirements.
• Wear personal protective equipment and follow safety instructions as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
