About The Position

This role involves repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine the root cause of problems. The technician will disassemble machines, repair or replace broken parts, and adjust functional parts as necessary. Responsibilities also include cleaning and lubricating parts, ordering replacement parts, inspecting completed repairs, and ensuring equipment returns to specifications. The role may also involve adapting procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet special needs and serving as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment.
Use of basic hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

Nice To Haves

HS/GED
3 years prior machine maintenance experience.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.
