Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of machinery operations and maintenance procedures. This includes knowledge of mechanical and electrical wire repair, pneumatic and hydraulic theory & procedure
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and handle heavy objects
- Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong commitment to safety protocols
Nice To Haves
- technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of production machinery to identify and rectify issues promptly
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and extend machine lifespan
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
- Execute repairs and part replacements to ensure machinery functions effectively
- Calibrate and fine-tune machines for optimal performance and product quality
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory
- Collaborate closely with the production team to schedule maintenance tasks that minimize disruption to operations
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment
