About The Position

The Machine Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance function for the various types of manufacturing equipment and production lines Unifi operates, promoting a strong safety culture while ensuring high equipment reliability, maximizing machine uptime and performance, and controlling maintenance and operating costs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Availability for on-call and after-hours support, as needed

Nice To Haves

associate degree or other relevant two-year degree preferred
automated material handling experience preferred
Previous leadership experience preferred
CMMS software experience a plus
Automated material handling maintenance experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Leading maintenance operations for manufacturing equipment and production lines
Leading and developing the technical skills and knowledge of machine-related maintenance personnel
Supporting safety and operational excellence through workplace organization, housekeeping, and maintenance best practices
Leading effective machine-specific preventive and predictive maintenance programs through CMMS utilization to support required equipment reliability
Supporting the troubleshooting of machine failures and recurring breakdowns
Analyzing equipment failure data and root cause to improve machine uptime
Supporting equipment upgrades and capital projects
Working closely with production management to maximize throughput
Identifying and implementing energy-saving opportunities
