Position provides fabrications support activities including loading robots and/or machining centers as well as ensuring cleanliness of the area. As a Machine Loader at Caterpillar, you will: Load/unload and position heavy fabrication metal components in holding fixtures using lifting devices Assist Machinists or Welders with certain processes Maintain Fabrications area in a clean and orderly condition Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings and blueprints
Requirements
- Manufacturing experience
- Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive operation
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Overhead Hoists OR Overhead Cranes
- Material handling experience
- Machining experience or exposure
- Welding experience or exposure
