Machine Learning - Research Engineer - Python, Statistic Analysis
About The Position
Erias Ventures is seeking a Research Engineer to bridge the critical gap between cutting-edge ML research and production-ready solutions. You will transform research prototypes into robust, deployable systems that end users can confidently put into production. This role uniquely combines software engineering, DevOps practices, and ML solution delivery. You will develop evaluation methodologies and experimental designs for assessing model and agent performance, including capability, reliability, and limitation analyses. You will conduct reviews of current state-of-the-art AI/ML evaluation methods and emerging techniques to inform approach selection. You will define and document evaluation criteria, success metrics, and assessment rationale in partnership with the Data Scientists. You will assess candidate models and agentic systems and produce written technical findings and recommendations. You will author technical reports, evaluation plans, and decision-support documentation for stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Develop evaluation methodologies and experimental designs for assessing model and agent performance, including capability, reliability, and limitation analyses.

- Define and document evaluation criteria, success metrics, and assessment rationale in partnership with the Data Scientists.
- Assess candidate models and agentic systems and produce written technical findings and recommendations.
- Author technical reports, evaluation plans, and decision-support documentation for stakeholders.
