About The Position

As a Qualcomm Machine Learning Engineer, you will create and implement machine learning techniques, frameworks, and tools that enable the efficient discovery and utilization of state-of-the-art machine learning solutions over a broad set of technology verticals or designs. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the world of mobile, edge, auto, and IOT products through machine learning hardware and software.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of modern AI/ML concepts, including model development, evaluation, deployment, and operationalization.
- Experience delivering AI-enabled software products or features from concept through production deployment.
- Familiarity with AI concepts, agentic AI frameworks, knowledge management systems, and other LLM-based applications.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of hands-on experience developing, fine-tuning, or deploying AI/ML models.
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Experience with cloud-based AI platforms, MLOps practices, data engineering, or large-scale data processing systems.
- Familiarity with telecommunications, wireless networking, Digital Twin technologies, network automation, or intelligent network-management systems.
- Experience with Generative AI, agentic systems, multi-agent frameworks, LLM applications, or AI-assisted software development.
- Demonstrated interest in emerging AI technologies and their application to real-world engineering and product challenges.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the design, development, and delivery of AI-powered capabilities that advance Nimbus product objectives and address customer needs.
- Contribute to the development, evaluation, and deployment of AI and Generative AI solutions supporting network optimization, Digital Twin technologies, and other strategic AI-driven products.
- Work closely with engineering, product, and domain experts to translate business and customer requirements into practical AI-enabled solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts, project status, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and best practices, identifying opportunities to apply them across Nimbus initiatives.
- Apply sound software engineering and AI development practices to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.
