About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support one of our major customers that sits in Chicago. This is a 100% remote, long-term contract position. The role involves using existing models to create software services, rather than conducting research. A strong engineering foundation and the ability to approach problems systematically are highly valued. Cloud engineering experience is required, with a focus on AWS infrastructure. Candidates with a strong college background and the ability to articulate their experience and technical foundation are preferred.

Requirements

• Strong engineering foundation
• Ability to understand the problem
• Ability to approach problems systematically
• Ability to learn new technologies on the job
• Some experience with ML technologies, particularly from an engineering perspective
• Cloud engineering experience is required
• Thinks systematically
• Experience building ML systems such as ML pipelines, real-time inference services, and working with/maintaining feature stores
• Strong foundation in AWS cloud infrastructure
• Solid engineering background
