Requirements
- Shipped ML or LLM features to production and owned them post-launch.
- Built evaluation harnesses to accurately assess model quality before user impact.
- Proficiency in reaching for and defending the choice of the simplest effective model.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, fine-tuning, or retrieval systems applied to real business problems.
- Production-quality coding skills and fluency with AI coding tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with forecasting or scheduling problems.
- Experience with document extraction at scale.
- Experience with agentic frameworks and MCP.
- Experience with temporal or workflow engines.
Responsibilities
- Build ML and LLM systems for internal company operations, including forecasting build timelines, identifying schedule risks, and structuring data from vendor documents.
- Take full ownership of models from initial problem framing and data preparation through deployment, evaluation, and ongoing iteration in production.
- Ship agentic systems that include robust guardrails, authorization, audit capabilities, and evaluation mechanisms, enabling agents to act on company systems rather than just provide advice.
- Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to integrate predictions into existing user tools.
