Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in factory and field environments.
  • Initiative and passion for working to integrate technology to construction equipment.
  • Self-initiative and energy working with customers and in a team environment.
  • Development of new methods and evaluation procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of construction equipment customers and their applications.
  • Heavy Equipment operating experience, especially construction.
  • Aptitude and competence in diagnosing and troubleshooting machine systems.
  • Customer experience working with equipment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the vehicle design team and be the voice of the customer to provide feedback in the product design phase using tools such as virtual reality and operation on feasibility builds to verify machines meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead the on-site vehicle performance testing by understanding the machine specifications, developing a product test plan, working with the test team and experimental shops to complete the vehicle testing, and report the results.
  • Lead the off-site customer field testing with the development of a field test plan to meet the hour durability goal, assist in defining customers to provide system feedback, track vehicle hours, schedule machine maintenance, and providing customer feedback to the test and product design teams.
  • Develop test methods and procedures (EAPs) for machines and/or technology systems to validate customer acceptance and value of Precision Construction applications.
  • Champion improvements to on-site test facility projects.
