Requirements
- 3–5+ years building or assembling industrial or automated equipment
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to read detailed assembly drawings
- Electrical cabling and basic troubleshooting experience
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and using shop tools
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and basic electrical schematics
- Strong mechanical assembly skills with attention to detail
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and cabling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts and/or scissor lift
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and techniques
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical assembly of industrial equipment
Nice To Haves
- Packaging or automation experience a plus
- Technical diploma or associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field preferred
- Experience in packaging machinery or automation systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom automated filling machines from engineered prints
- Handle mechanical, electrical cabling, pneumatic, and fit-up work
- Troubleshoot issues during build, test, and checkout (FAT)
- Commission and FAT machines
- Work closely with Engineering and Production to deliver high-quality machines
- Occasionally assist with machine installs or service support (limited travel)
