Join our team supporting USGS Service Desk! This role involves delivering on-site deskside support at the Denver, CO location, providing hardware and software support for Windows and Mac desktops and laptops. The technician will configure, test, and install printers, scanners, and network copier/printers, as well as install and configure laptops and PCs using standardized computer images. Support will also be provided for users with file share access and permissions-related issues. The role requires tracking, logging, and reporting all service requests accurately, performing security vulnerability patching and remediation, and providing conference room/AV support as needed. Ensuring the latest approved BIOS updates and system patches are applied to PCs and laptops is also a key responsibility, along with carrying out additional duties as assigned.
