About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Washington State credentialed MA-Phlebotomist for our Northern Star location. In this role, you will serve as a professional representative of the laboratory by providing excellent customer service and skilled venipuncture collection. This position works collaboratively with healthcare team members to support positive outcomes for patients and the organization through phlebotomy services, specimen collection and handling, and accurate use of laboratory information systems. A strong understanding of department procedures, as well as computerized EMR and Lab Information Systems, is essential. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
  • Ability to calm patients and work under stressful conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a clinical lab setting is preferred.
