MA-C or LPN - Neurology
About The Position
Vancouver Clinic is hiring a part-time, dynamic Medical Assistant or LPN to join the Neurology team at Columbia Tech Center. Come join our growing team! Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, and assisting with the overall delivery of patient care. Candidates must be able to multitask, work collaboratively as part of a team, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Location: Columbia Tech Center (CTC) – (501 SE 172nd Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684) Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday – 6:30AM to 5:00PM. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. The ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas, is an essential function of all positions at the Clinic.
Requirements
- MA: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- MA: Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- MA: Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc) as for MA- Certified credential.
- LPN: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- LPN: Current Washington State LPN license in good standing.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in an outpatient medical setting preferred
