About The Position

This position focuses on applying Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to address complex operational and mission-level challenges. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in LVC M&S, sensor and communications phenomenology, and high-fidelity engineering models to develop and integrate realistic representations of operational environments and systems. This position provides an opportunity to work on challenging problems at the intersection of operational analysis, engineering-level modeling, and advanced LVC simulation. The successful candidate will contribute to developing high-fidelity, integrated M&S capabilities that enable more realistic evaluation of complex military operations and systems.

Responsibilities

• Applying Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) Modeling and Simulation techniques to analyze complex operational challenges and mission scenarios.
• Developing and applying models that accurately represent sensor and communications phenomenology within operational environments.
• Learning, adapting, and applying high-fidelity Modeling and Simulation capabilities, including engineering-level models, to represent complex physical and system behaviors.
• Integrating high-fidelity engineering models into LVC M&S environments to improve the realism and analytical utility of mission-level simulations.
• Developing and evaluating innovative approaches for representing sensors, communications systems, and other operational phenomena within complex simulations.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate operational requirements into technically rigorous modeling and simulation solutions.
