This role involves learning and actively participating in all aspects of the company’s safety and quality plans and culture, focusing on an injury-free environment. The position completes entry-level and routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities. Responsibilities include developing budgetary M/E estimates, reviewing mechanical and electrical options, and assisting in the development of scopes of work for the bid process. The role also involves assisting with bid analysis, subcontractor selection, and developing sequencing requirements for systems to meet schedule demands. Additionally, the engineer will gain knowledge of design documents to identify quality problems, assist in developing constructability review reports, perform job inspections, and learn the shop drawing/submittal and commissioning processes. This position will also help generate and execute the Commissioning Plan, interact with project teams, produce and explain work product to clients, lead mechanical/electrical coordination, and participate in all phases of construction from startup to closeout.
