About The Position
We are looking for several mechanics for current and future needs for our Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to work as a team, perform diversified tasks that make a difference, and work in an outdoor and natural environment. Reporting to the maintenance supervisor and working on a 3-2-2-3 schedule on shifts or days (depending on the facilities), you will have the following responsibilities: Carry out preventive maintenance activities. Participate in diagnostics during various breakdowns. Contribute to the completion of mechanical projects. Apply the organization's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles.
Requirements
- Commitment to your safety and that of your team
- High school diploma (DES) or recognized equivalent
- TENS recognized
- DEP in industrial and construction mechanics and/or DEP in electromechanics
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Good computer skills
- Good knowledge of plan reading
Nice To Haves
- DEC in mechanical engineering
- DEP in welding
- Experience in heavy mechanics
- Sense of responsibility and great autonomy
- Good adaptability and problem-solving skills
