Requirements

• Hold a DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
• Class 1 license (asset) and PEP card (asset)
• Knowledge of electricity
• Knowledge of welding, both steel and aluminum (asset)
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Interest and aptitude for problem-solving / troubleshooting
• Ingenuity, dynamism, resourcefulness, autonomy & ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent physical condition

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting
• Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance of equipment
• Maintenance of electrical systems
• Dismantle and reassemble tires and brake systems
• Install, remove, and/or replace differentials
• Aluminum and steel welding for our rolling equipment
• Use a computer to detect various mechanical problems
• Preventive maintenance on Sanimax's specialized vehicle fleet
