About The Position

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice in Dallas. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic buyers, and investors in sophisticated middle-market and upper-middle-market transactions.

Requirements

• Approximately 5–8 years of M&A and private equity experience
• Significant experience representing private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, portfolio companies, and investors preferred
• Experience leading transaction workstreams and managing junior attorneys strongly preferred
• Strong drafting experience involving purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, equity documents, and ancillary transaction agreements
• Excellent business judgment, communication, and client-management skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted in Texas

• Direct client interaction and substantive deal responsibility
